Projects

The biggest project currently in which Prediktor is involved, is the ANEMOS project, the largest research project in the field of short-term forecasting to date. In this framework, Prediktor forecast for up to 50 wind farms in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Denmark, Germany, France and Spain. The ANEMOS software is also running in Australia for the Australian Market Provider. Prediktor is also involved in the two follow-up projects, ANEMOS.plus and SafeWind, and forecasts there for many wind farms in Europe.

Taiwan

In collaboration with INER, Prediktor forecasts for three wind farms in Taiwan.

India

Prediktor is currently running for a wind farm in India, together with the Centre for Wind Energy Technology in Chennai.

China

Under the Wind Energy Development Program, Prediktor has been installed at the China Electric Power Research Institute for three wind farms. A large training component also was part of the project.

Spain

In a co-operation with CIEMAT Prediktor has been implemented at CIEMAT. Prediktor is predicting the expected power output of two wind farm sites. Finished.

Scotland

Scottish Power has used Prediktor on a trial basis for one year ending August 2000.

USA

In a project funded by EPRI and DOE Prediktor was used on-line for a wind farm in Texas.

In a project funded by EPRI and California Energy Commission Prediktor was used on-line for several wind farms in California.

Ireland 

University College Dublin has used Prediktor for the case of Ireland.

Japan

We collaborated with Tokyo University in the application of Prediktor for a few wind farms in Japan.
