If you want to have Prediktor predicting the output of your (or your competitor's!) wind farms you need the following:
A UNIX, Linux or Windows XP computer - any somewhat recent PC will do. The computer should be connected to the Internet and be remotely accessible for the installation. Furthermore you need some (free) software, but we'll help you install that if you don't have it.
An agreement with you national meteorological institute/service/office to provide you with meteorological forecasts of the wind speed and direction two or four times a day for a number of grid points around your wind farm or just for the nearest grid point. The prediction horizon should be 36 to 48 hours ahead and you should get the predictions with a 1 or 3-hourly resolution. We can help you with that, or even facilitate it ourselves.
A license to Prediktor.
The installation and set-up, which we will do at our going rate. If you want to install new farms yourself, then you also will need a WAsP 10 licence.
Please contact Gregor Giebel for an offer.
